by Hard disk manufacturer Western Digital (WD) admitted this week that it was hacked, which not only caused the company’s data to be leaked, but also caused a number of network service interruptions. WD discovered on March 26 that multiple systems had been illegally accessed by an unauthorized group. WD has notified the competent authorities and launched an investigation with external security experts and law enforcement agencies.
