The German brand Volkswagen recently released the concept design of the new ID.3, which will be a minor facelift of the ID.3 electric car currently on sale. It will be put into production in 2023 and will be officially released in the fourth quarter. The changes of the minor facelift ID.3 are mainly in the interior cage, including a 12-inch large screen and more ample trunk space.
In addition, ID.3 owners are not satisfied with the performance of the on-board system, and it is said that it will be improved in the minor facelift. Volkswagen also added a detachable trunk floor for the new ID.3, the center console will have a double cup holder design, and the overall design will be more environmentally conscious. The parts used in the cabin are sustainable materials, and all are animal-free ingredients. Charging in new cars will be further simplified, and route planning tools will be improved.
The new version of ID.3 has already started on December 1st, and it is the first to let customers in Germany order. There are five versions of Life, Business, Style, Max, and Tour. The price starts from 43,995 euros (about 360,000 Hong Kong dollars). It will be produced at the Reston plant, and the car will be delivered in the fourth quarter of next year at the earliest.
