For at least three years, Tesla employees have been able to see images from cameras on Tesla vehicles, and some have shared them on company social media platforms, Reuters reported. In order to provide self-driving and driving safety, Tesla has installed cameras in multiple places in the car, front, rear and sides of the car body. The company also claims to protect user privacy. However, Reuters quoted nine former Tesla employees as reporting that at least from 2019 to 2022, employees could see the images captured by the cameras and even share them with each other on internal communication platforms.
