Urban Tech Story | Valve announced that “Counter-Strike 2” will be released in the summer, closed beta starts

Valve has officially announced that the latest installment of its most popular team competitive game, the Counter-Strike series, will be released in the summer, starting today in closed beta. “Counter-Strike 2” will replace “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO)”, and the game will be upgraded for free. Valve released a series of videos showing off new features in Counter-Strike 2, including: smoke grenades are now three-dimensional dynamic objects that interact with the environment and respond to lighting, gunshots, and explosions; Again hampered by refresh rate; maps fully reworked using the Source 2 engine; Source 2 tools will be made available to community mapmakers; CSGO inventory will be brought to Counter-Strike 2; and more.
