Netflix’s main rivals also have ad-supported plans, priced at $6.99 a dollar less than Disney and Hulu’s ad-supported plans, and 30 percent less than HBO Max.analystexpress, the new plans address one of the biggest challenges Netflix has faced over the past few years: rising price sensitivity. Analysts estimate that the new ad-only package in the U.S. alone could add a net 4 million subscribers to Netflix next year.
