Razer held its annual celebration for gamers in the early hours of this morning – RazerCon 2022. At this celebration, Razer released the world’s first 5G gaming handheld – Razer EDGE, offering Wi-Fi version, Founder’s Edition, Verizon 5G version (eSIM) three versions are priced at US$399.99 (approximately RM1,881) and US$499.99 (approximately RM2,351). The price of the 5G version has not yet been announced. Currently, the handheld is only available for the US market.


According to Razer’s official introduction,Razer EDGE gaming console natively adapts to thousands of AAA gamesunlimited access to game resources anytime, anywhere, while ensuring remote use, content compatibility and user experience.
In terms of core configuration, Razer EDGE is equipped with a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400×1080, supports 144Hz high refresh rate, built-in LPDDR5 8GB storage, 128GB storage (UFS 3.1), supports up to 2TB MicroSD expansion, and has a front 5MP lens. 5000mAh battery.


In addition, the Razer EDGE gaming handheld is equipped with a Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 processor, with a 3Ghz eight-core Kryo CPU and Adreno GPU, which can be regarded as an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 888, and its absolute performance is weaker than the Snapdragon 8.
It is understood that the Razer EDGE supports Android games, PC streaming and Xbox cloud games. The body is 260*85×11 mm, the tablet mode weighs 264g, and the handle weighs 401g. The handle is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
