The electric car brand Tesla recently launched a software update for the Christmas holidays, which for the first time added support for the Apple Music music service to the car entertainment system. According to a Canadian Model 3 SR+ owner sharing on Twitter, after installing the latest 2022.44.25 update, the owner can directly log in and use the Apple Music service.
In the system upgrade document provided by Tesla, it is mentioned that car owners can stream more than 100 million songs and 30,000 song lists without advertisements, listen to the entire music library, discover new music and listen to live radio. To use Apple Music, just click the Apple Music icon in the Application Launcher, then scan the QR Code with your mobile phone and log in with your Apple ID. Tesla specifically reminds users that to stream Apple Music, it needs to be used with the Premium Connectivity service.
Supporting the Apple Music service has been a long-awaited expectation for many Tesla car owners. Some foreign car owners bluntly said that they can cancel the Spotify service, but some car owners inquired when Tesla will support the Apple CarPlay function.
