I still remember that Apple launched a limited edition AirTag last year. At that time, in response to the arrival of the Year of the Tiger, the emoji of the tiger was engraved on it; with the coming of the Year of the Rabbit, Apple Japan announced yesterday that it will launch a limited edition AirTag for the Year of the Rabbit .

This special celebration will run from January 2nd to January 3rd, 2023, and is a special 48-hour sale in Japan; during this period, consumers can receive up to a free Apple Gift cards (valued up to 32,000 yen, about TWD 7,400).

And the first 30,000 consumers who buy the new iPhone SE, iPhone 12 or iPhone 13 during this promotion period will receive a special limited edition AirTag with a rabbit engraved on it, and a 8,000 yen (approximately NT$1,850) gift card. The offer is similar to last year’s promotion, in which the first 20,000 customers to purchase an iPhone would receive an AirTag engraved with a tiger emoji.

It should be noted that the amount of the gift card will vary depending on the product purchased by the consumer. The gift card can be redeemed directly with an Apple ID, and then can be used in Apple Store, App Store, iTunes Store, Apple Books and applications in-app purchases.

If you happen to be in Japan during this period and want to buy Apple products during this period, it should be noted that although the official said that the event time is 48 hours, the discount is limited, so it may end early; moreover, this This offer is applicable to in-store purchases on Apple’s official website and Apple Store, but not for Apple Store apps. And this discount does not apply to markets outside of Japan.
