by Today, SONY released a new generation of full-frame mirrorless single and double image quality flagship Alpha 7R Vthe suggested retail price is 25,999 yuan (about RM17,073), and it is expected to land in Malaysia as early as December this year.
In terms of ID design, the Alpha 7R V is equipped with a 4-axis multi-angle flip 3.2-inch LCD screen that supports up and down, left and right flips, a 9.44 million-dot electronic viewfinder, and has two CFexpress Type A/SDXC card slots. The body adopts a compact and lightweight design, magnesium Alloy body frame.
The new Alpha 7R V is equipped with SONY’s newly developed AI smart chip for the first time, combined with a high-resolution image sensor and the latest BIONZ XR image processor, to more accurately identify and capture subjects when taking photos and videos. The Alpha 7R V captures approximately 61MP still photos and 8K video, featuring efficient 8-level 5-axis image stabilization, creative looks, upgraded pixel-shifting multi-shot, and a new 4-axis multi-angle flip screen.
The Alpha 7R V uses an approximately 61MP full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor, with the new BIONZ XR image processor, the sensitivity can be set to ISO 100-ISO 32000 when shooting photos and videos, and supports 15-level photo shooting Dynamic Range.
Alpha 7R V adds lossless compression RAW format, the image size and quality of RAW format are optional; has 693 phase detection focus points, covering a wider focus range; both high quality and high compression rate HEIF format; equipped with about 9.44 million Tap the Quad XGA Electronic Viewfinder.
For video shooting, the Alpha 7R V can shoot 4K video at 8K 24/25p, 4K 60p and 6.2K oversampling without binning. With multiple built-in picture profiles, S-Log3 / S-Gamut3.Cine enables it to present about 14+ stops of dynamic range, while S-Cinetone delivers a more cinematic look straight out.
In other respects, the camera can transmit data via Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz) or USB 10Gbps (USB 3.2) Type-C interface. When connected to a computer or smartphone via USB (supports UVC and UAC), the Alpha 7R V transforms into a live camera, providing 4K (QFHD) high-quality video and audio transmission.
