Scientists trained AI models with hundreds of millions of amino acid sequences and successfully designed a new artificial lysozyme

Scientists from Profluent, Salesforce Research Institute, and UCSF have used the model ProGen to design millions of proteins in a similar way to generate text artificial intelligence, and successfully identified proteins with bactericidal effects. This research actually uses artificial intelligence to design proteins, which are tested and proved to have specific effects, which means that the same method can be used to speed up the manufacture of new drugs.
