The dream cabin and Tiangong completed the docking

The Mengtian experimental module, the last module module of the Tiangong space station, has completed the docking with the space station. The experimental module is 17.88 meters long and weighs 23 tons. It was launched at 15:37 on October 31 at Wenchang Space Launch Site in Hainan. About 8 minutes later, the Mengtian experimental module was successfully separated from the rocket and accurately entered the predetermined orbit. At 4:27 on November 1, it successfully docked at the forward port of Tianhe core module. The entire rendezvous and docking process lasted about 13 hours. Mengtian is the third compartment of the space station and the second scientific experiment cabin. It consists of a working cabin, a load cabin, a cargo airlock cabin and a resource cabin. It is mainly used to carry out space science and application experiments, and participate in the management of the space station complex. The cargo airlock can support the automatic entry and exit of cargo, and provide support for scientific experiments inside and outside the cabin.
