OpenSSL to patch first major vulnerability since 2016

This week, the OpenSSL Foundation announced the upcoming release of OpenSSL version 3.0.7 to patch a major vulnerability, the first major security flaw since 2016. OpenSSL 3.0.7 is scheduled to be released on November 1st between 13:00 and 17:00 UTC. This release is a security patch update that addresses vulnerabilities including one with the highest risk rating.
