by OpenAI has released a free ChatGPT iOS app, with an Android version coming at a later date. The app, which syncs with the Web version and supports voice input based on the open-source model Whisper, will roll out first in the US and then gradually roll out to other countries in the coming weeks. Since its launch at the end of November last year, ChatGPT is the most popular AI chatbot, attracting hundreds of millions of users. According to Similarweb’s estimates, ChatGPT attracted about 266 million visits in December last year, and reached a whopping 1.76 billion visits last month.
