by Samsung Electronics has announced the appointment of Hubert H. Lee as Executive Vice President and Director of the Mobile Experience (MX) Design Team. After graduating from the Art Center College of Design in California, the Korean-born designer was recruited by the German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz. During his more than 20 years of work in Mercedes-Benz, he once led the design centers in the United States and China.
Samsung believes that Hubert Lee will bring his more than 20 years of experience in design and leadership to his new role. He was responsible for leading multiple design projects during his time at Mercedes-Benz and has received numerous awards for his leadership of US-China design teams.
Samsung announced that Hubert Lee will lead the mobile experience design team, responsible for and creating Galaxy products including S series, Z series mobile phones, Tab series tablets and Watch smart watches. Samsung believes that Hubert Lee’s unique and forward-looking vision will help shape new Galaxy products.
