LastPass said earlier this week that it had investigated a string of hacks last August that showed the culprits were high-level employees whose home computers were hacked, exposing login credentials to the company’s systems. Hackers stole some technical information and code from the network of password management service provider LastPass in August last year, which triggered the hacking incident of user password storage in November. With the assistance of security vendor Mandiant, LastPass released the whole story this week.
