I believe that many people are no strangers to the multi-point connection function. Other mainstream headset brands such as Apple have already added this technology to their headsets. Recently, SONY, a major headphone manufacturer, finally announced that it will add the multi-point connection function to several of its headphones by the end of this year.
A few days ago, SONY announced that it will add the multi-point connection function to 3 true wireless headphones, including LinkBuds, LinkBuds S, and WF-1000XM4, by means of a software update by the end of 2022. The updated headset can be connected to 2 devices at the same time. For example, the headset is connected to the computer. When the phone rings, the headset will automatically connect to the phone.
Therefore, after the headset is updated, users no longer have to turn on Bluetooth to manually switch the headset connection, or accidentally broadcast music due to wrong Bluetooth settings.
