Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he will serve as Twitter’s CEO after buying social media Twitter for $44 billion.
Musk is currently the CEO of Tesla and runs SpaceX, a rocket company, Neuralink, a neurotechnology and brain-computer interface company, and the Boring Company, an infrastructure and tunnel construction company. Now after the acquisition of Twitter has become its chief executive officer, as the chief executive officer in charge of five companies.
Musk changed his Twitter profile to “Chief Twit” last week and fired former CEO Parag Agrawal and other top company officials. Musk plans to cut a quarter of Twitter’s workforce as part of a first round of layoffs that will involve nearly 2,000 people, according to The Washington Post.
