Elon Musk hired well-known hacker George Hotz to help Twitter fix his search function. Elon Musk hopes he can fix Twitter’s search function within three months.
George Hotz will join Twitter as an unpaid intern for 12 weeks, according to online sources. George Hotz successfully cracked iOS in 2008, allowing iPhone users to jailbreak (Jailbreaking). And in 2009, he took another shot and successfully cracked the PS3 protection program, which enabled many players to play pirated games on PS3. Hotz was sued by Sony for this reason, and finally the two parties reached an out-of-court settlement. These two incidents made George Hotz a world-renowned hacker. Later, he founded comma.ai to focus on the development of autonomous driving systems.
