EA partners with Marvel to announce at least 3 games

Game maker Electronic Arts recently announced that it will cooperate with Marvel to develop at least 3 video games based on the other party’s popular comic series. Among them, “Iron Man”, which is in charge of EA Motive, has been announced as early as September this year. Launched on PC and consoles, the single-player third-person point of view action-adventure game.

EA hasn’t released too many details about the Iron Man game, but it’s sure to stay true to the original, using the character’s original history and characterization. As for which comics the other two games will be based on, and which studio will be developed by them, EA has remained tight-lipped for the time being. This isn’t the first time EA has partnered with a Disney-owned company, having previously developed Star Wars: Battlefront and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for Lucasfilm.

While EA no longer owns the exclusive rights to develop the Star Wars franchise, they also have Star Wars Jedi: Survivor expected to launch in 2023. Before the Marvel game developed by EA is released, “Marvel’s Midnight Suns” developed by Firaxis will be available before the end of this year, and “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2” developed by Insomniac will be launched next year. Working on a new game about Wolverine.
