Hongqi Motors is expected to launch its first Sedan EV in 2023, which has recently entered the final stage of development. This car adopts the traditional caravan layout, sealed window design, and has a endurance of more than 1000 kilometers. It only takes 3 seconds to accelerate from 0-100km/h. The electric vehicle supports 30kW wireless charging, and it can charge and discharge at the same time, so it can be charged wirelessly while driving. The vehicle is also equipped with a fast charging function, which can bring a range of 350 kilometers to the vehicle after only 5 minutes of charging.
Hongqi will launch two electric vehicles at the same time, including an “SUV EV” high-end sports SUV, and “E-LS” convertible four-door SUV, which provides an open cabin. Hongqi said that it will launch 15 new new energy products under the new structure, covering RVs, SUVs, MPVs, etc.
Hongqi means that in the future, it will focus on markets in Europe and other developed advanced countries. Currently, the company has entered the Nordic markets such as Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands. In the future, it will target markets in major European countries such as France and Germany.
