The first 00 series film “Dr. No” was released in 1962. This year coincides with the 60th anniversary of the film series. As a partner, the audio brand Bowers & Wilkins has announced the launch of special edition headphones. Bowers & Wilkins Px8 007 Edition, as the name suggests, is based on the Px8 active noise-cancelling headphones, but adds 007 elements.
The specifications and configuration are exactly the same as the regular version of the Px8 launched earlier. The 007 Edition uses a midnight blue body to pay tribute to the blue suit worn by the protagonist Sim Connery in “Dr. No” and attended the dinner in the play. The “ballistic” logo of the classic appearance in the 007 movie will appear in the ear cups on both sides, the 007 logo above the earphones, and the power button with a small red embellishment.
Bowers & Wilkins has had ties to 007 films long before becoming a film partner, using Bowers & Wilkins 800 series speakers at the Abbey Road Studios in London, where the soundtrack was recorded. Bowers & Wilkins Px8 007 Edition has been on sale on October 26, priced at 699 pounds (about 6,295 Hong Kong dollars).
