Is one of Apple’s rumored new mixed reality (XR) headsets finally coming?
It is rumored that Apple’s first head-mounted display device will begin mass production at the end of the first quarter of 2023, and Pegatron has won the exclusive contract for the final assembly this time.
According to rumors, this head-mounted display product, which is code-named N301 internally by Apple, is equipped with an ultra-high-resolution 8K display and has eye-tracking technology. Just one helmet product uses 15 lenses for Accurate eye capture, motion tracking, and more.
Apple requires suppliers to assemble and manufacture this XR product in a semiconductor clean room grade.
