Apple Announces (RED) Charity Project Results on World AIDS Day

Yesterday (December 1) was World AIDS Day, and Apple also announced the results of their cooperation with the (RED) charity project on this special day. Apple has launched the (RED) series of products since 2006, including the bright red iPhone, Apple Watch, wireless earphones and accessories, etc. Part of the proceeds will be donated to (RED) AIDS-related charity projects.

Since 2006, Apple has raised more than $250 million for (RED), provided care and support services to more than 11 million people, distributed more than 197 million doses of AIDS test kits in Africa, and helped more than 5 million people living with AIDS Mothers, prevent the virus from being transmitted from mother to child. In recent years, part of the revenue from Apple’s (PRODUCT)RED products will also be used to fight the COVID-19 virus through the Global Fund.
