870 major U.S. infrastructure hit by ransomware last year

Recently, the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released the Internet Crime Report for 2022, showing that 870 organizations related to major infrastructure in the United States were attacked by ransomware last year. The top three ransomware targeting critical infrastructure are Lock bit, ALPHV/Blackcoats, and Hive.
