Security researchers discovered that a batch of internal system data suspected to be from the Swedish car company Volvo Cars, including employee data, database access credentials, software and system files, was put on the dark web for sale. French security researcher Anis Haboubi discovered on a hacker forum that a person named IntelBroker was peddling this batch of information. He claimed that Volvo cars were attacked by Endurance ransomware on December 31 last year, and the attackers leaked 200GB of sensitive data.
